I thought yesterday was one of the best days at the SGC for a few years. A great day weather wise, a great crowd and the boys played their best footy for a long time.

Really enjoyed the game and was very proud of the effort the team put in, particularly in the second half when only 1 interchange as possible. Hoping this is the start of a great second half of the season.

Well done also to the coaches as I am sure they have put many long days over the past weeks trying to get the team playing this attractive and winning style of footy.

They never used to I thought. I just looked it up and if they step out of the square to deliver the kick then under the new rules it does count . Not sure it should really.

And the the icing on the day is KICK-TO-KICK.
Fair dinkum, this brings more joy to little kids, big kids, WAGS and grandpas/mas than you possibly imagine.
There’s even a line of chairs (in the centre square) for lost kids with a caring cop.

Yes, it was the best day I’ve had for ages, THE FINAL QUARTER (must see) in the morning , lunch at the Asian Bar in David Jones Food Hall (fabulous) and a winning day at the footy, and checked out VIVID on my bike ride to base camp in the Rocks.

That has to be the best win for a while. It really doesn't get much better than smashing the reigning premiers with three players injured in the second half. The boys dug so deep they found magma.

This article is pretty close to how I feel about the resurgence of the Swans in the last 5 weeks! It has been a pretty extraordinary turnaround.
During the Collingwood game I thought to myself - is the rebuild over already?

Six things we learned: Tigers won't win the flag - AFL.com.au

Sydney might have undergone the quickest rebuild in history

This is, quite frankly, stunning. The Swans look a completely different side to the one that started the season 1-6. That team looked lethargic, and the battle-weary warriors that served it so well for so long, helping lead it to finals in 15 of the past 16 seasons, didn't seem like they could carry this outfit to September. That won't happen in 2019 but looking at the form on show in the past five weeks, with victories over Essendon and North Melbourne, followed by competitive outings against Collingwood and Geelong, then capped off with a thumping of reigning premier West Coast, who's to say a swift rebound isn't on the cards? The way John Longmire's men controlled the footy against the Eagles, held firm in defence and gave their potent forward set-up a chance to thrive was ultra-impressive. Oh, and Lance Franklin is still among the best players in the competition. They'll be all right, the Swans. - Dinny Navaratnam

Good to Rioli and Vardy suspended for a game a piece. Thought WC were grubs last night.

I read that Clarke played 2.5 quarters without having a rest because of our interchange issues. If true that is outstanding considering his role is to follow the opposition player and run all game. That shows you how fit he is.

Ha! Not surprising when a beer costs $11.60.

Then I was told by the woman serving me that I had to take off my sunglasses before they could serve me. Wtf is that about?

I can only echo what others said, just a great day at the footy! Big happy crowd, great weather, kick to kick. Hello to the entertaining gent on the Noble concourse who sang along with and high-fived our kids every goal.

It was great to see the entire team so switched on, seemed like the winning spirit was infectious. Not sure anyone mentioned Rose yet, thought he had a good game, best I've seen from him.

I didn't really notice we were 3 down in the second half, only saw O'Riordan go off. Papley on fire is just a joy to watch, as is Allir gliding surely through the air towards the ball.

Here's hoping for more of the same against Geelong in a few weeks.

It’s a good thing we have the bye because some of our boys will be tired. The ToG stats are really interesting - Rampe 100%, Buddy 97%, Mills/Melican 96%, Lloyd 95%, Hewett 94%, Clarke 93%. Enormous. Does anyone have access to the Telstra tracker stats? I’d be interested to see how many kms these guys did.

I remember seeing Dane Rampe run to the interchange with his opponent Josh Kennedy only to turn around and go take his place in defence
