Dare i say it, but even Dermott Brereton in yesterday's 'Hun' rated McLean a good pick up. Apparently coached him in juniors and feels he is very big and strong with a mature body. His efforts last week against the the 3 giants were very good. Against 2 more mortal ruckman who can be hot and cold i think he'll do ok

Hayward has been woeful the past few weeks so don’t think he’ll be missed from the setup too badly.

Perhaps (W)Haywards poor kicking is associated with this injury. If so, he should have been rested weeks ago.

It's a Sunday game - they cut the bench down to 4 (with the other 3 as emergencies) at 5pm today.

Looks like McLean will keep you out of your desired ruck role. I'd advise you to give up 2019, go in for whatever surgeries are required, and aim to be fit and ready for round 1 2020 in case we trade or delist all our rucks.
