Phillips is the one IMO, build an A grade engine room first.

IF - Campbell is bid at 7 and Gulden at 17, after adjusting for picks moving up as JUH, Campbell and Jones are matched, we'll be about 320 points short or pick 47 equivalent, so that's not too bad an outcome. Think we'll do another pick swap beforehand or on draft night to negate the deficit for 2021 first.

And our record with pick 4 is not good.
You are correct about our record being poor. South Melbourne and Sydney's pick 4 at various national drafts:

      1981 - Mark Naley - 0 games
      1991 - Andrew McGovern - 29 games
      1993 - Glenn Gorman - 0 games
      1996 - Mark Kinnear - 6 games
      1998 - Ryan Fitzgerald - 10 games

To be fair though, we haven't had a pick 4 for more than half the time that drafts have existed.

I think Fitzy-gerald would have been a pretty handy player had he actually played

Apparently Jackson Thurlow has been delisted but not announced.
Mitch Cleary's delisted 22, who gets an AFL lifeline?

The AFL site is reporting that Jackson Thurlow has been delisted.
Have I missed that being reported or isn't it public yet.

It hasn't been made public yet.

Really disappointing, would have definitely given him 1 more year.

Hmmm, he played some pretty reasonable footy in the back half of the season. I guess with shrinking list sizes some tough calls need to be made.

Hold your horses. I can’t see any reference to Thurlow in that article or on the AFL website?!

Thurlow was atop my list of projected delistings going into the season, but played some good footy in the back half of the season. His field kicking is superb, but his decision making has never been good. I thought he was going to get through the cut this yet. In reality, it's hard to find a spot for him in side next year. A 27 yo depth player doesn't have much future on the list these days.

If this report is true, I think that we have some players that deserved to be delisted more than Thurlow.

I see at the bottom of that article that Robbie Fox is still without a new deal....surely Thurlow's delisting means this will now happen.

Not shown on the AFL list of Sydney delistings but an interchange on Mitch Cleary's team of best 22 delistings. Not unexpected and will not be the last this year. Ronke, Foot, Fox and McLean are named as being still without contracts and I have not seen anything on Brand getting a new contract.

From that Mitch Cleary's article "...While Sydney is yet to announce it, defender Jackson Thurlow has been delisted by the Swans after eight games this season."

In the same report, underthe heading of "Players in limbo" , he also says"... Clubs in need of a small forward will be keeping an eye on Sydney pair Ben Ronke and Zac Foot, while Robbie Fox is still without a deal despite playing 14 of 17 games this year. "

At the end of the report , he also says"Others without deals include: ... Hayden McLean..."

                              Fair enough.

Very un-Swans like for it to to come out like this!

By the way, The unique connection a potential top 10 draftee has to coaching great reported that Will Phillips has revealed his unique connection to legendary Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson. As he knows Clarkson's daughter well, he has connections with the coach and expressed his wish to join Hawthorn.
