It really ought to be very severe and impact the club where it really hurts, premiership points. This is their ( Richmonds) second offence and it’s a terrible look two days after the GF announcement. Players should miss the rest of the season and the some.

Caroline Wilson amongst others has been going on about the fact that Richmond have lost their way off-field (including Hardwick's outbursts) and that Neil Balme (I wrote Blame by mistake) should be up in the hub.

They have become very arrogant- very reminiscent of the way they were during their last successful era in the late 60s and early 70s. Both eras have come after a prolonged period of failure. Tom Hafey was coach during the first era and he was a humble guy and the arrogance was among officials, supporters and some players. This time, Hardwick is up to his neck in it.

10 matches for the Richmond players and sent home. ( plus the 100k in fines , 25k the suspended amount from the previous breach). That’s about right although I would have liked to see them take 4 points away considering my it’s their second offence.

These guys only got caught because they were involved in an altercation. How many others are slipping out at night and back again without being observed?

10 game suspension, $100K fine ($75K to be paid by the players themselves) and kicked out of Queensland. We'll see if this
is enough to get through to AFL people that they need to stop behaving like absolute tools when they are guests of the states
              that let them in.

I expect they will be delisted.

Even all the other fines that result in a reduction of a clubs soft cap spending next year can essentially mean there will be people
who don't have a job next year. Selfishness just reigns supreme I tell ya.

I know some will disagree, but I think it's dishonourable of Richmond to make the players pay. The AFL fined the club. The club was responsible for them. To the extent the players were not properly managed, it's ultimately on the club. Apparently, they'd left some club-organised birthday drinks. Surely others noticed they'd gone.

It would be a significant impost on two low paid players. Unless there is some contract term they've agreed to which supports it, Richmond should suck it up.

Then we can pick up Coleman-Jones as a DFA. We need a young ruckman.

He'll like Sydney. They have strip joints in Sydney too, don't they?

Re home game advantage for Brisbane Lions (should they play in the Granny)

Did someone complain that Brisbane, if they make the Grand Final, would have a home ground advantage? If so, that's unbelievable!!!

                              Reasons often given why Richmond don't have a home ground advantage when playing in the GF at the MCG ;
                              1. Other teams have the MCG as their home ground as well.
                              2. The GF has always been played at the MCG.
                              3. There will be more opposition supporters at the GF than at Richmond H & A games at the MCG.
                              .... and my favourite....
                              4. Geelong has requested home finals at GHMBA Stadium and if played there they would be a bigger
advantage to Geelong than a GF played at the MCG would be for Richmond.

This is what we're dealing with folks.

                                AFLPA agrees.

I didn’t realise that they hadn’t been to the strip club. Only to get food. (Or am I being naive?)
