Match Thread Match Thread. Richmond, Round 6.

The weather is just starting to cloud up, so there will probably be a few showers coming in around game time. It might suit our lack of talls. The injuries to Richmond give us some sort of chance, although I wouldn't say that I'm confident. But hey, you never know.

Looking forward to seeing how the Newbies go. Not confident of a win though.

I think they have a far more experienced team. Only one of the changes is not a premiership player and that is the debutant.

More experience and if you look at their outs compared to ours and we are by far more incapacitated. We are in the creche they are in their HSC year.

Disappointed Haywards getting another run, would like to see Taylor out there. I think he's been unfairly maligned

This will be a flogging. Every time we go really small we get flogged

Allir a late out based on form ? That’s a first.

The guy that gets asked to play 5 roles within a game gets dropped on form ?

You would be very unlucky to be dropped atm based on form

Much as I like him, Hayward needs to be dropped on form if we are going to be consistent.

Because he is not a ruckman ! He is a defender only.

                        I don’t think he’s been in great form, but . . .

Given the mix of roles, and the standard set by keeping Hayward, I’m very confused.

Dropping Aliir this late due to form sounds a little like shenanigans.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Don't understand how dropping Aliir so late would help him to get back to form! ( There was a practice match against Melbourne YESTERDAY) We don't have the NEAFL to let players play back into form. Perhaps some would fancy us to get the number 1 draft pick.
