Haha well there ya go ! Good to know, I’d like to see L Taylor get another crack at it, great user and finisher. Does go missing though, and in a young side he needs to show more in the seniors. Surprising they didn’t reward him with a game if he played as well as you say. It’s not as though he’s old.

Yes why he was dropped in the first place is baffling. Someone said Horse said Aliir trained on Saturday and looked good. Well he must have trained alone because the reserves were playing in Sydney and he was up in Qld with the main group and was a late out.
The article mentions Hardwick's back down. I would have been livid with the way the game was played too. In fact I was livid. It was the worst game of footy I have seen in 20 years. Maybe not as bad as the game against Grant Thomas' Saints in Canberra way back. But close. At least that day we were the ones trying to attack not the opposition. Horse's tactics gave us little chance of scoring let alone winning. But we nearly did win. Sad really. I'd rather not see a repeat of that match. Why not back the players in? He is all about negative and defensive tactics not about scoring. I am totally sick of it. I love the Swans but they are hard to watch atm.

We were called 'ugly' about 15 years ago....turned out we weren't so bad. Not saying we are headed for success this year (we're not) but I think our style of play will change as better players return and with that, higher scores and better results.Comment

Who said it was? But Longmire has a long record of going defensive and closing games down. If you can't coach a team to play decent footy in the wet then give up. The tactics used were a disgrace. I don*t give a @@@@ how wet it was.

Homesickness, doubts about fitting into a professional environment I think. Seem to recall he was very high on the sheer talent scale.Comment

I wondered the same thing [emoji3]. Presumably someone who was in on the joke. Perhaps one of the injured ‘outs’.
One of the funny things is the nervous laughter from the players while Papley is doing his rant at Longmire.Comment

I'm excited about ET playing and seeing the number 37 back in action. I'd love to see a resurgence of cheering at 7th minute in the 3rd quarter of every home game. It would be a great way to continue to honour one of our former greats. A bit challenging in our current climate though.
We should do it.Comment

Surprisingly encouraging stat from the AFL
