I agree with the general sentiments. Some exciting attacking and brave defending but numerous costly lapses from a young side, especially in front of goal.

Blakey continues to be elsewhere mentally.

Bell hasn't been as good today. That one particular turnover late in the half was especially disappointing.

Conversely Ling has made a few mistakes but I've mostly really liked what I've seen from him and I think he'll get better.

Rowbottom has been useful. Mills not having his best game.

I hate to say it but Mills has been ordinary in the midfield so far. But we still need to give him several games to adjust, not just a couple as he has played a completely different role throughout his AFL career so far. I'm confident he'll improve and still become a dominant midfielder if given the chance!

If they want to make the game more free flowing and higher scoring , they have to clamp down or players being held up after a mark or free kick. That one just there were the saints player was all over Rowbottom for about 10 seconds, completely ruins our chance of a quick entry.

Precisely. Was never my fav as a Swan. He always seemed grumpy and pouty. And wasn’t always convincing with his decision making (especially his first five option). But he was ours. Don’t like him much now.

One of m pet hates. A player lining up for goal flicking the ball around in their hands. Set your ball hold, line up your leg, head over the ball and step your run in. Basic. NO @@@@ING FLICKING THE BALL AROUND. DAWSON DOESN'T DO IT. BUDDY DOESN'T DO WHY DO BLAKEY AND ALIIR DO IT?
