2020 Round 10 Vs Pies at Gabba

Yes they largely played better but its just so galling when the umpiring is so biased that even our best efforts are thwarted. Admittedly, we do @@@@ up a lot on our own. There’s a bit to do re decision making and awareness though not sure we can too much about the luck just not going our way when the ball is kicked in hope. A few on the list below AFL level. Oh and the cart thing was the cherry on the cake.

Does Melican possess a Brain? 3 minutes to go and kicks to a 3 on one and Collingwood scores a goal, and then gives away a stupid free kicks with just over a minute to play.. He was a great asset for Collingwood.

Wasnt too bad, our kids were better our experienced were down a bit.

Had our chances but they controlled the game, its a fine line when your not in control.

At least we were playing a decent, more direct style

The Alir ruck experiment needs to end, leave him down back.

I want to see a back 6 with Ramps, Melican, Brand, Alir, Fox all fit before id judge Melican properly, he is only 23.

I thought we played well for an undermanned young side in the face of poor umpiring and a strange cart incident. Thurlow proved people wrong but Melican is a bust.

The umpiring was puzzling at times, but I wouldn't blame that for our loss. Our overly defensive structures are more to blame.

And people blowing up about the cart need to take a breath. Looks like a serious injury and the medicos weren't doing that for any reason but for the best interests of the injured player. Stay classy RWO.

Then dropped a sitter on the boundary. I have never been a rap for him. Slow and makes so many skill errors. Why did they let him kick out.

The plus was Thurlow. I reckon he could play midfield. At least he has a strong body. I reckon Taylor was much better. He started to get in the right places and was much stronger at the contest. Also I liked the way we kept pressuring.

Well we all watched the cart take off Gary Rohan after an injury 10 times worse than that and it rocked off at warp speed compared to tonight’s snail parade. No one is not being respectful to the player, just the officials, who clearly had a strategy to give the players on the field as much of a rest as possible.
