I found it hard to watch today's game. Our effort was good but we were killed out of the centre and at the stoppages for most of the game. We never really looked like winning.

All of our midfield seemed to struggle today. The one positive was McCartin's form when moved to defence. There were glimpses from some younger players like Wicks, Lizard and McInerney, and Aliir also did well when moved into the ruck. Rowbottom looked to be moving slowly so perhaps he copped an injury? I guess we just have to be patient as we are a long way off finals footy at present.

Just had a look at the stats. They confirmed that Wicks is a goer. Laid more tackles than anyone on the ground and also tied with Parker, for most pressure acts, with 32. However, Wicks only had 70% game time, opposed to Parker's 90%, and was playing largely forward 50, rather than midfield.

really or did did we flood periods of the game behind the the ball and behind the contest ?

        lets be honest

        lets stop telling BS

anyone here who has coached sports local or rep level know how to mitigate blow out scores

stope telling lies via scoreboard results being what you want them to be

as mentioned week in week out........ the best team in the world in soccer can be held to 1-0

        we are not attacking
we are sitting behind the contest
we are starved of real one on one opportunities in our arc up front
we are not even close to moving into the top8

        WHY ?

because you cant go top heavy with junior draft picks....... unless you are tapped on the cucumber by the fair AFL gods like Brisvegas and or Suns

look at Carlton and 6 years down the track with stacks of draft picks

we need to lobby the AFL now !!!........its not fair vs cities where true AFL grow up and play up !!!!

we have been penalised by outlier results and the truth is we are miles behind and that is why we went for Buddy to remedy a disaster because the Swans knew we are screwed !

So if it takes 5 years as you suggest, will we have to endure your debilitating negativity for the same period of time?

thats the recruitment and trajectory I see

what trajectory and recruitment do you see vs past patterns in the AFL?

i see the AFL step in late and step in hard to save its remote non AFL regions like Gold Coast, Brisvegas etc

the WA an SA regions are covered

            not Sydney
            not Brisbane
            nor Gold Coast

they need to be supported with over weight measures to compete

just to challenge the debilitating comments

                  really?

you find my sense of realism debilitating ?

you feel weak by my comments ?

                  come on

                  lets all grow up here

we are seriously in a trajectory with minimal support by the AFL

this is not about you vs me

this about an AFL that picks and chooses

this about an AFL that will support a WAFL, SANFL, VICtorian dominance before and a QLD Brisvegas or Suns dominance

they have let Brisbane do it once
They have let Sydney do it
They wont afford the Suns or GWS the same luxury

it is a manipulated system to support their growth but not ahead of their favourites for too long

The lobby of victoria will win in the end

                  we wont !

                  seriously the no trading
the buddy pay if he is injured bad luck

these were enough to smash our trajectory of being in the top8 for long

these areas were underestimated by most
                  but not by swans supporters
a little under the radar by some
note by others as ....................debilitating !!!!!

McInerney, who is still a teen and has played a handful of games, adds spark, pace and isn't afraid to take the game on. I think he's doing really well at this stage of his career, and the kind of player we need. Also has plenty of upside as his strength and disposal improve.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

                          Im dead serious
we are on a trajectory of Carlton minimum, Brisvegas, Suns etc the last 10 yrs

we need to stand up now

Campbell and Gulden will not nearly be enough to balance the loss of Buddy, Kennedy and Rampe at their best

In my humble opinion we are on the systemic slow ride

we are not fighting for the top4 nor top8 in the next two years

that will be 4 years in the jungle

                          not acceptable

that is not just our recruitment at fault

that is our lack of fighting the AFL for what is fair and reasonable if they truly want a national game

GWS have been given everything and not achieved...............why do we think with our fall fortune we can do better >?

Before the game, there were suggestions /tips that we would be blown out and lose at least by 40 points. But we had shown effort and remained competitive against the Top of the Table team but our scoring was definitely the sore point. Our structure in the second half was more offensive focus and should be preferred to our first half set up. In the remaining games, we should keep practising the better set up and improve. Bring in another forward ruck such as Amartey or Mclean may help.

We’re playing one of , if not the youngest side in the comp. We have done for majority of the season. You don’t think there are any good signs there, you think our trajectory is likely to trend downward not upward?

Your posting this year has been gobsmacking in it’s hysterical negativity. Were you expecting us to play finals and contend for the flag this year ? I’m sorry it hasn’t panned out for you mate but you need to calm down a bit. I reckon you’ll be pleasantly surprised over the next couple of years. ( Although with your seemingly ridiculous expectations of eternal success you’ll probably be disappointed )
