Allie has to play out the game in the ruck. Sinkers taps the ball straight to the opposition far too often. I hope Wicks keeps up the tackling. We need more from our experienced mids in this quarter. McCartin has been great taking those intercept marks. Good coaching by Horse at half-time.

Much better quarter. We were able to get our hands on the ball and we spread. Good change up by the coaches moving McCartin back and Aliir to the middle.
Have to laugh at the Port supporters booing all the holding the ball decisions. They weren't booing when Dixon got that cheap free in front of goal.Comment

So pleased with the late goal, as I was dreading Port jagging a late one. The way that the Port fans are now going off, is starting to remind me of our 2003 qualifying final victory. Ahh, happy days.Comment

Another quarter like that one please. We can be as exciting as any team. Considering we are missing a key player from every line, we're doing more than ok.It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

im absolutely fascinated how everyone on this forum evaluates the promotion of Clarke and the continuance of Thurlow?
vs
the development of stephens and o'riordan
and i dont mean Dolores from the Cranberries !!!!
Seriously.................ludwig and the rest are saying be patient ?
do you mean patient in ressies or patient in seniors ?
i am so confused...............everyone was excited with a pick 5 in Stephens............yet we are picking Thurlow and Clarke
plse tell me that we are smart, reasonable, intelligent and future focussed in this decision making............ in a year that doesnt supposedly matter ? at the bottom of the table again !!!!!!!
??????????????????????????"be tough, only when it gets tough"

I suspect that should even up a bit in the second half, since I thought a lot of those were more bounce of the ball, rather than great skill or planning. That is, it seemed that when the contested ball was ricocheting around, it invariably ended up bouncing to a clear Port player, when it could have just as easily bounced to one of our players. There was also a fair bit of throwing that wasn't being paid.Comment

Yes it's good to see him trying something different! Kudos where it's due! McCartin looks really good down back! It's a shame we don't have 2 of him and perhaps the chasing of Daniher could pay off as we may be able to play Tom down back!
If Daniher can stay on the park... lol.

Fair dinkum, why didn't Parker just kick the bleedin' footy forward instead of hand balling. He was clear.Comment

Need more from Rowbottom and Hayward this quarterIt's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.
