According to the latest Swans Injury Update, the Reserves played a game last weekend against the Giants at Windy Hill. The interesting part is that Warner and Campbell played full games and are good to go. Interesting how Swans don't give any update on Reserves games at all. Laidlaw doesn't seem to be very proactive to give updates or encouragement to these players.

He has no idea what's going on. He did give a few reports, but they were void of any meaning and usually just a regurgitation of a few stats.

100% agree, Ludwig. Our young talent who are our future, have had 2 years of hell. Even one of our favorites , Ling, seems to have lost all chance of playing in the Seniors, along with many of the reserves. I have doubts that COR, O'Connor, Brand, Gray and others won't be with us next season. Swans seem to dropped the ball on our reserves, which is sad.

Soft cap limits might have something to do with Laidler's retention.

I hope they do , I know it’s crazy times but as a long term member from Tassie I like to know how the next tier of swans are travelling.

No, I think all round 18 games are off and they're planning to have the last home and away round next week. Our opponents should be North.

We were due to play Carlton VFL this weekend as per the original draw. I think the VFL site just hasn't been updated. But it might make sense to play them anyway in an unofficial match.

It doesn't make sense to me that we would be able to play them unofficially? If we can play them, why would the official game be cancelled?

Disappointing as we need players like Warner, Stephens and Amarty to get some good form into them as they are all in the mix for our finals team if we have an injury.
