I have stopped reading his stuff because his comments are very biased and all the same but other people are still bitting at the bait he keeps throwing out.

Cheers for tonight guys- what a team we have now!
Shane Fell was afflicted with the 5 goals on debut curse...like Ryan Fitzgerald.

Sorry. Been off the forums for a while. Duly noted.

In other news, how good is Rowbottom?

I was at the game, just tucked away halfway up the Gabba on one of the 50s. Excellent view.

RB was in the thick of everything and when not at the contest, was doing alot of work off the ball as we're all the boys.

RB looked great live and was very brave playing on despite injury. His stats back this up and I'm confident he's a keeper.

Still think Fitzy could have been a damn fine player had the injuries stayed away.
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

              Common sense at last.

I disagree with The Bloods on Rowbottom but feel no need to personally attack him or bring up his old posts from days prior to prove him wrong.

Few posters on here are exceptionally vicious when they don’t agree with someone’s opinion.

The situation with The Bloods and the group attacks are essentially bullying. Ironically by a lot of the same people who are very vocal about inclusivity being so important...

No need to be sorry and Rowbottom is looking very good. Roos used to say he always appreciated Josh Kennedy's game after watching a replay and seeing his in and under work. I think some of Rowbottom's efforts yesterday were similar

Didnt bring Rowbottom up. Thought he was solid. Move on.

I am accused of being negative . I gave praise to 9 individual swans players in my summary of the game. Anyone have any thoughts on that or is the focus only on a player i didnt mention ?

Yep agree. Fell was a bit too short - 186cm I think - for a full foward. Fitzgerald was a good mark, very mobile and a great kick - terrible shoulders. Without injury he would have played 150+ games I think.

If you ask Neale he will say that he was "playing a different role". That's what he said last year when we played the Lions and Clarke kept him quiet. No credit given to Clarke.

I agree, but the relentless negativity is pretty wearing. The Eeyore schtick is getting tedious. But whatever, it's just an opinion.

No passengers. Everyone seemed to play their role.

Sam Reid had his obligatory shank.
Tom Papley was quiet in the first half but exploded in the 3rd quarter to lead the charge. His burst speed opened up the forward line. Looked like he was moved onto the ball.
                                Warner was my surprise packet.
When we dominated we won most of the centre clearances and those that Brisbane got we largely negated in the 3rd quarter.
Was surprised by Hewett's work across half back and he got better as the game went on. Maybe they now see him as too slow to play midfield given the pace we have injected into the side.
Yes the new boys were impressive but boy doesn't a fit Heeney give us something big up forward. Heeney, McDonald, Wicks, Gulden and Papley make for a very dangerous forward line. Options a plenty.
