    Wow!
That is an unbelievable stat. Won’t be long before Victorians are calling for the end of our academy.

Blakey being overshadowed by Chad, Jmac and Ollie. With Stephens lurking in reserves, along with Ling who was a wing in juniors, The Bloods might be on the money re. Blakey's short term future in the team.

Having said that, I was at the Lions game last week and I did notice Nick working really hard off the ball so hope he is doing the same today. Certainly was not lazy as suggested.

Only issue for me so far is Ollie Florent's kicking skills/disposal. Tries dinky kicks across his body too often that NEVER come off. Turns it over too often. Should be told to roost the footy.

McInerney has stepped straight back in and playing well and picked up the pace immediately.

And beyond the rating points, the metres gained stats has Campbell leading with 415m. Since most of those touches have also been incisive, that's truly elite.

Its not a case of laziness, that's for sure. His work rate is good. Just needs to focus a little more on doing the simple things well, rather then trying a bit too hard for the spectacular. Still reckon unless his form drops off a cliff he isn't likely to be dropped anytime soon.

Free kick count is 16 to 7. It is so annoying that when we get caught with the ball its holding the ball, when Adelaide get caught with the ball its play on.

He is showing today I think why we are keen to give hiim time to develop down back. He uses the ball so well and has great vision. But then so do several of our others younger players too - so great to see.

Great quarter. Bud looks very much not match fit. The young guys are GOLD. The game style is in two parts. First is to look to run the ball by hand and foot. Not overdoing the handball like last year. The long kicks, passes, have been sensational. Campbell, Lloyd, Rampe and Daws on are hitting up targets 50-60 metres up the ground.

Gulden is BOG. I think he will win the Brownlow. He does not give a @@@@@ who is playing on him. They have a shut down player on him and he is taking him to the cleaners. I love the story about Lambert's sons playing against him in the Sydney FL U13. Hey boys you've got tickets to the Errol Gulden show. I'd definitely pay to see that today lol.

Mcdonald is a wonderful talent. Boy oh boy. Heens is on fire. Wicks and Paps are playing supporting roles this week lol. Need to maintain the pressure and the press we are putting on. When they bring the ball out of defence we allow them 2 players free, one on each wing. But thd reality is they are being set up. Our defenders and wingers close them down very quickly. This is a set up. A set play. They kick to the free player and two Swans either spoil or outmark the smaller player. McCartin and Rampe are doing it all the time.

We are setting up across the centre to stop the corridor outlet and when Crows go there they get cut off by a wall of our players. Great systems. Well done Horse and Co.

I love the style of footy we are playing. Lewis, who hates Swans, is say we could make finals. I agree. If we continue to play the way we are we will make finals. That is a big IF though. We can only hope.

A big shout out to Warner

Sounds strange to say after a 5 goal to 1 quarter, but we wasted good opportunities in that quarter to really blow it open. Great to see Campbell getting plenty of the pill - all the talk is about Gulden (understandably why), but there is a reason we coughed up #5 for Campbell. That bit of play early in the 2nd when he went uber agressive in at the ball on the half back wing and made it his - quality.

Nice spread of possession so far - 13 players I think it is for the Swans have 10 or more disposals. McInerney has had a couple of bad moments in terms of decision making, but reminding us clearly why we all were excited by what we saw last year.

And gee how cool calm and collected is Tom McC. Sign him up to a 10 year contract please....

At least one, if not two came just after Adelaide players in the preceding few seconds of play got away with the same things however. Consistency please OPSM boys!
Yes, I thought that McCartin played a big part in turning the momentum. Having an excellent 50th game. And a few years back, I thought that Nicholls was becoming a decent umpire, but now he's back to where he started: a surrealist performance artiste. His inexplicable behaviour may be entertaining, if you're not anywhere near him, but if you're emotionally involved, he's just infuriating.

Yes and the Crow Throw is back in vogue again. Not only that head high tackles have been let go all day

They'll just extend Collingwood's NGA zone to Sydney east of Homebush

Great goal from Reid. But come on, the Adelaide player clean dropped it after being tackled just moments before, where is the consistency?
