I hope the Swans keep going for the risky kicks/switches - might end up being good in the long run.

Not so much for this game but for developing a gamestyle.

I'm so over that trend in footy. That and the rugby league dummy hand passes - where an arm is held and its impossible to handball, but they hand it off and its play on.

Gosh that was just awful after the first ten minutes. Need a rocket at quarter time or going to get seriously ugly.

I hope Horse can work some magic at Q time. 11 scoring shots to 3. Double the disposals etc etc.

How woeful is this? Yes we are definitely the great pretenders. I don't think they should bother tackling because Geelong can always get a handball away anyhow. Totally disorganised down back, very poor coaching.

Maybe put Mills back in the mids for starters

Ramps is very important for us. But surely it can't be down to one player. All teams have to endure injuries throughout a season but the best still maintain standards and structures. It seems like as soon as some pressure has been applied to us (started with Essendon, even though we won), we've become as weak as jelly. The worrying thing is that there's no one in 2s who is demanding selection and in all ways, they are playing as sloppy as the 1s. I think this might be out down as another rebuilding year.

Geelong are too big, too strong, for the Swans. The umps are allowing players to stand up in tackles as long as they want, not just this game, but all the games. It doesn't suit a matchup of kids vs. men. Their skills are very good as well. We are being totally dominated.

We keep giving the ball to them and they don’t give it back

                      Here's some more:

                      Disposals: 130-66

                      Contested possessions: 40-20

                      Uncontested possessions: 92-36

                      Marks: 43-14

                      We're getting smashed.

We just don't seem to have any system. Moving the ball forward we are handballing to no one or to someone under pressure. Bombing it into the 50 isn't going to work. There is no cohesion and our backline is in disarray .

Warner shows his class. A great kick for goal.
