Fabulous quarter despite the yellow maggots being at their utter worst during that. Great to see us not shy away from taking on the game in that quarter despite being under the pump on the scoreboard.

Inspirational performance in that quarter one for the true believers. Noticeable increase in pressure and Parker and Kennedy lifting. It never pays to call a game after just one Quarter.

I’m hoping this has a similar narrative to Friday night’s game

The umpires ruin every game these days. They're not biased they're just incompetent.

Hard to disagree. We could easily have had 5 or 6 holding the ball/incorrect disposal frees in our forward line in that quarter. But none paid. Then the utterly baffling calls mixed in - the coathanger non-50, the Hayward non mark.

Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Looks like you've gone too early yet again

Whatever Horse said at Q time it did the trick.

Well, what a recovery. Let's hope we can keep it moving. I thought we were better positioned for ball movement in the 2nd quarter - let's hope it keeps up.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Yes it’s hard to imagine it’s a national competition. One way to rectify that would be to have more commentators and pundits from outside the Victorian commentary bubble.

Melican playing well. Stephens looks to be in better form than Blakey.

This may come back to bite me on the behind...but.. they have a lot of older plodders in my opinion.

I reckon Selwood is done - unless he can get a high free kick.

If Hickey plays most of the second half I reckon we are a chance. DID NOT think I'd say that preseason.
