Who does Braeden come back in for (assuming Chad for Bell)?

If it's in the back half, it's between him and Lloyd for the distributor role.
The tricky one will be Reid - he was doing incredibly well as a back up ruck and tall target before injury. Hard to trust his body, and Amartey showed a glimpse of what's possible with him today.

I wouldn’t replace anyone in today’s team with him based on that performance by all who played

As always its a jigsaw of pieces that has to be put together.

I have little doubt in the longer term he is very likely to become a mainstay in our team (noting of course who knows who might come into the club over the next few seasons), but in the shorter term there is likely to be pressure for spots and he has had a mixed season this year thus far to say the least (and clearly seems to be far from 100% fit).

In the following weeks the following players could be available for senior selection:

                Reid
                Melican
                Chad
                Campbell
                Rowbottom

You also have other young players available like McLean, McDonald and Stephens

That will make the team much stronger.

                Questions to ponder

                1) Will Reid get fit this season and is he worth a place ahead of Amartey?

                2) Is Melican a better option as a tall back than Fox? I think so.

                3) Will Buddy need some management in the back half of the season or let him keep playing as he’s in form.

                4) Chad is a no debate selection when he’s fit. Who comes out of the current team?

                5) With Blakey finally coming good, is there a spot for Campbell.

                6) Will Rowbottom work his way back into the current team with Hewitt in good form?

                7) Will the Swans pick a 3 tall forward line and include a McDonald or McLean. Looks like they are very happy with the mobile Will Hayward playing that 3rd tall forward role.

Plenty of options at the selection table.

I think Campbell will be a long term midfielder when his body matures. Playing half back is to help him eae into the tempo of AFL footy and make use of his deadly left foot. I always thought Blakey as a marking high forward who could also play midfield role, but maybe half back is his best spot to develop his game/confidence. Frees up Dawson to play more attacking role as witnessed yesterday. Shows we have flexibility in the team and break our predictability tag.

I think we're a bit off being a genuine premiership threat but nevertheless like us to make most of our chances this year playing finals and not just contempt making it. Seize the moment.

The Bloods has been saying this for weeks and yet has been totally smashed. Absolute BS the stuff he had to put up with.

There is a lot to be said for having a short injury list. There is just more pressure on the 16-23 players to keep their spots
every week. I've noticed our friends out west seem to be having all their cattle come back into the yard at the right time
                      in the season too.

Yikes.... now James' career is really in strife, as Barry has dropped him too.

His Career is fine. I just think at the moment his body is not mature enough for the game style he wants to play, and therefore players like Hewett can get the job done in a finals. (if we have all players available).

To be fair I think many were happy to hear his opinion and his reasons for his thinking, it was his incessant negativity and constant posts belittling RB that put people offside. Many supporters are very protective of players that they want to see succeed and so take offence at the constant denigration of them by other fellow supporters.

Agreed, but initially it started out with the view that Warner was ahead of RB, which as it stands today is a correct call. The comments were around RB needs to work harder and really want a game. It all went downhill from there with abuse from all sides.
