    Hard to disagree Bexl.

Totally outplayed in the clearances all night , even when we did win a tap , their midfielders just gobbled it up and sent them forward with sublime footskills .
Made us look like an absolute rabble .

Meg, I need to say this... Wicks showed tonight he is not up to the top level. He deserves a week and hopefully someone comes in, plays well, and keeps him out of the side. He was also very undisciplined last week and until he can show that he has the ability to have more than few touches in a game, he may end up on the football scrap heap.

Maybe our early season form pointed the A(V)FL towards setting up these fixtures?

Papley has given away two umpire abuse penalties in the last couple of weeks.

It’s not good enough to give away penalties for umpiring abuse.

If MCS, Wardy, Stevo and Mark want to be Papley apologists and pile into me, so be it.

Papley is there to play the game, not abuse umpires. In the words of Captain Lee “I don’t give damn” if Papley is frustrated with umpiring.

What example does Papley set for young players when he gets so frustrated with umpires that he gives away free kicks for umpiring abuse.

Time for coaches to take a stand. It’s now happened twice. I think Papley should be given two weeks in the reserves to sort this out.

C'mon Blakey, Gould, Stephens and Ling. Play like an AFL spot depends on it!
If Blakey and Stephens are not better than Wicks and Bell I'll bare my backside in Bourke Street. (one of the great old footy sayings)

                        .
If im completely honest, i am as one eyed as they get but.... The umpiring was biased (10-26) even the numbers dont do it justice thats not factoring in the ones that were missed or just not paid. Chamberlain is a joke of a human, he just cant go about his JOB without making it about him & Umpire 26 was equally as bad. Some might not think umpiring can change a game to the tune of 38 points but i've played alot of footy and when the umpiring is clearly biased like tonight it has compounding effects that can really change the way a team plays. Longmire should really take a stand, it has been going on too long.

He started the season so well, but has really dropped off in recent weeks. I like Wicks and think he has done very well to get to where he has, but has to show more on a far more consistent basis to be any hope to make it long term at the top level.
