The fundamental problem if the economic business case is not there, is that the AFL has a history of removing assistance if it doesnt pass the "level playing field test", as defined by powerful victorian clubs.
Take COLA as an example, or academies.

So if its worked out that Tassie will need an extra $2m per year for ever, just to compete. Which is fine by the way, you can guarantee that if tassie taste a bit of success, it will be under threat for not being a level playing field, and if its removed, they will struggle for then on.

Apparently the editors didnt think it would cut through to the general populas, and asked for changes.


Its always been in the back of my mind that if he had only based it on a more established and popular ruckman like Calum Sinclair, it would have had a world-wide audience and really set the kindle world alight. It could have broken the Amazon servers. Oh well, we'll never know.

Hopefully the author would be able to spell Sinkers first name correctly throughout the book. But Barry I really think you
need to focus on the AFL CEO job now that you have it. You can write your own book when step down from the position
in 2051 and pass the baton onto Ludwig. He'll have the umpires reading chapters from "Das Kapital" before the first
bounce at games as part of the Match Day Experience and all teams jumpers will have red in them somewhere.
