I listened to the ABC coverage of the game which was good. Someone in the box was a Swans supporter and Luke Hodge was really fair in his comments and support. They picked up on several inexplicable decisions v swans. In the rooms after they spoke to Jordan Dawson which was interesting and they gave him their best player 3 votes. JD is very happy to be playing on the wing enabling him to go up and back.

Fantastic win, especially in the light of 4 or so teams behind us fighting hard to end up in the top 8

    I am looking forward to enjoying watching the game now!;

I’d love to see Champion Data present a stat on the number of times a player’s name is mentioned per disposal per game. J U-H would have set a new record today for his 7 touches

I thought Dawson was best on ground, just in front of Mills for mine.

No apology as he needed to go back tk there reserves and learn to defend. He allowed his opponents a lot of room in the games he played. So nobody should be apologising for saying he was @@@@e when he was. He has come back and redeemed himself at HB

Rampe did a total Ramps on him, didn’t he. That play in the first quarter when JUH was galloping towards the 50 and Rampe nabbed him from behind and he scrubbed his kick was a way of saying - forget it young man, you’re in the big time now.

Apologise for what? He was woefully out of form & needed to go back and find some.

Second week in a row I've watched the game on delay. This week my son was playing in an U10s footy carnival - his team won 5 from 6 and he played very well. We had a great day, capped off by watching the Swans win - Sundays really don't get much better!

Credit to George. He is the premier tagger of the competition. Loving Blakey's work off HB - he's making me look like a genius since my prediction. And of course Mills, Dawson and McCartain - couldn't split it between these 3 for BOG. We need to do everything possible to keep Dawson and Hewett - promise them decent raises when Buddy retires.

Have always thought Dawson’s best position is the wing.

                      +1

Still the strongest tackler in the side (when he can keep up) - reckon there’s a lot he can teach our younger players in that regard. Hasn’t yet lost the strength to get an effective disposal away when tackled (he and Parker are among the few who can do that on a regular basis). I’m not ready to put him out to pasture just yet.

When Blakey was out of form, some of the criticism levelled at him was very harsh. Swans in the crowd would really give it to him.

I think he has found his spot. I don’t think he should play against the three biggest opposition forwards. When he plays against smaller players he has the freedom to jump at the ball from the side and provide aerial support. He is a great running athlete off half back and uses it well.

I think Dawson to the wing has also been a dynamic move.

Will it be Chad back this week to further strengthen the team and break some lines.

Liked watching Bont play. Brilliant footballer.

First half was an enjoyable tussle to watch on TV but the second half was ruined by one-sided umpiring and dreary Dogs oriented commentary.

I was pleased to see McCartin put in a solid reliable game, he looked much more comfortable, while having a few mobile players like Blakey and Dawson especially has been a real boost. A second solid team performance!

I agree with the supportive comments on Kennedy. The problem we have with Kennedy, Parker, Mills and Hewett for an on ball brigade is lack of speed, and a key reason why we are losing centre clearances. Once an opposition midfielder gets the ball in the middle with a little bit of space, he is off to the races, especially if our closest midfielder is Kennedy. Unless he's virtually on top of an opposition player, he's a liability defensively. And we don't have enough quick inside mids to compensate. If we can mix things up with Wanner and Rowbottom at stoppages, we get a bit more speed.

It's not just Kennedy, but he's the weakest link defensively in a slow on ball brigade. We need to find a more balanced mix at stoppages, especially centre bounces.

After the last 2 weeks, not sure who Sir Chad "breaker of lines" comes in for. Every one of our 22 has done there jobs and some. If I had to pick someone, it would be Florent, who did fade out of the game somewhat. But to be fair, he certainly wasn't terrible and played his part.

If there are no injuries or resting required, I'd keep the team as is given the momentum we are currently riding on.

Agreed Captain: he did great work both forward and back. Has developed into a fantastically versatile player and JMac seems to follow in his footsteps, though without the marking power just yet.

Was BOG today- keep it up and sign on the dotted line!
