Did you read and assess the rest of my post ? I ask because you seem to be fixated on statistics and haven’t addressed my question of the potential impact that debatable or dubious decisions have on players and the flow of games.
I understand that this is not something that is quantifiable however I still believe it has an impact on games.
If you feel that free kicks have no impact in any way on games and results then we can happily agree to disagree.

I don't think neilfws is saying that any particular free kick doesn't have an impact on a game. I think he is saying that overall the free kick differential has minimal correlation with results and team success.

A good example, but certainly not a conclusive demonstration of the point is that Richmond won premierships in 2017 & 2020 (and made prelim 2018) despite having the worst free kick differential of all teams.

Presumably, if you look at a team's free kick differential over a season it will have no clear correlation with ladder position.

Great idea I agree that sometimes the subject does derail the thread and in this instance we even digressed as far as to discuss the correct Twitter etiquette when assessing umpire conduct and performance.
Can I then suggest why not make your dream come true ???? what do they say
