No way should Selwood get off that high hit

It can't always be bad luck.
They don't. They would be one of the most under-resourced clubs in that department, and it shows.
But injuries make GWS a better team. Because it stops Leon Cameron stupid selections. Why have they been picking Sam Reid over taner bruen all year. Their young'ns are top notch.

Worst case scenario for us is if we finish 5th and GWS 8th.

There has been a persistent rumour all year that Chris Scott is going to the suns next year.. he knows the Geelong list only has 1 crack left in it: This year.

Someone needs to go to the Suns that is for sure. I'm sure Stu is a good guy and all that, but it's not working. They need to cut him and
get cranky old Clarko up there as fast as they can. Or, as you say, Chris Scott. He will understand being in Queensland better than
          most you would think.

Selwood won't get off, but he'll almost certainly get a fine rather than a week's rest.

I suspect Toby will be offered time by the MRP but if the Giants choose to contest it at the tribunal, who knows what will happen. The Bayley Fritsch incident provides some kind of precedent (albeit not as close as those the Swans used to overturn the Buddy ban), although admittedly I can't remember who the opponent involved in the Fritsch incident was, and whether they were injured.

Roy and HG have launched an app that warns you if Grub Greene gets within 1.5 metres of you. I downloaded it and it's brilliant. 5 stars.

Selwood is an automatic 2 weeks. And I can't see any grounds Geelong could appeal that. He wasn't going for the ball, and he had plenty of time to pull out.

I think it will be the opposite, especially with the narrative around Greene’s just being an accident.

He intended every part of that hit.

Toby should get off. If you play it at actual speed he was bracing for contact, and his arm never went higher than his shoulder, so it was more Dangerfields lowness that caused the head high contact.

                      But you never know.

Matt rowell is one of the most over rated players going around , so is Rankine

These guys cant even get a touch but are supposed to be superstars meanwhile our young players most of the media havent even heard of ! They are a BS manufactured club propped up by the AFL and the media because they've invested too much in them to see them fail , them and those grey and orange bastards across the road

Looks like Carlton are the first zombie to be officially buried. Probably a bit of a shame, that none of their fans were in the building, to witness that inept second half display.

The best bit, I think, is that there would have been countless Carlton supporters this week thinking: you know, we can win our last three and make the eight.

They’re a joke of a club going nowhere.
