On what basis do you assert he 'isn't taking his career seriously'.... just another 'vibe' comment no doubt in your endless campaign of vitriol....

Heeney is so up and down at the moment in terms of drifting in and out of matches - can't quite pick it with him.

Hickey was fantastic in seeing out the game - feels like he will really be one to lift come the finals when we need to.

I think he deserves another game next week .
His tank is fantastic - he still has some development to go, but if he can develop the rest of his game, he will give himself every chance to make it at AFL level. He works hard, marks well, and crashes packs. Has built a decent understanding already with some of the smaller forwards to.

Serious pressure for Reid to rediscover his better form this year/next year I'd think, both Amartey and McLean have plenty to offer, and that's before thinking about McDonald of course.

        What are you on about

Anyone who runs around for a half of footy not touching it and doing nothing when they are playing for their spot does not have the competitiveness to make it . Needs to pull his finger out along with others

I would love to have such exalted recognition, but I probably should first try to accomplish something in life, which looks highly unlikely at this time.
Accomplish just having humanity. Something Phillip failed at.

Absolute dribble as per normal.... your hate knows no abounds.

I ask again, on what basis are you accusing him of 'not taking his career seriously'? Questioning a players professionalism is very different to some bizarre qualitative dribble about 'competitiveness to make it' - as I suspected, nothing but the 'vibe of it' as per normal.

I've never seen someone so desperate to get the knives out, someone so desperate to tarr a player, to throw baseless accusations, whatever it takes. It is @@@@ing sad.

One clear plus of last night was Hickey. It’s the best he’s moved in a month, and to play that well against a quality ruck in Goldstein is a big tick.
Be intrigued whether we potentially rest Hickey next week if the pre-finals bye disappears from the schedule. He did move really well last week - Goldstein tbh isn't quite what he was once (especially around the ground), but Hickey and him had a really good battle all night.

For someone "not allowed to say anything against the golden child", you do an awful lot of it man.

Not sure about Kennedy and Rowbottom being in that! Especially ahead of Dawson, J Mac and even Blakey who was on fire.

I thought Kennedy should be higher. He was our best in the final quarter and across the entire game topped clearances and contested possessions again.

McLean did his chances no harm tonight - I like him, and Amartey at times has done well.
That miss from directly in front was heart-breaking - basically gave the Roos permission to come for us. That said, Sam did have a big week so perhaps we should be cutting him some slack. McLean did himself no harm with his excellent efforts however.

Second half just ghastly - feels a little like we're limping a bit just as we did to mid-season break. Let's hope we can find a third wind. Without Hickey, we lose that game - extraordinary!
