Not that I really give a s*** because we lost but the green incident will go straight to the tribunal in my opinion and a fairly obvious suspension I would say most likely more than 1 week

Re the Chad, I see a few knocks on him. And he did make two bad defensive plays at stoppages.

But he was a young bloke playing his first game in three months. He was never going to be the messiah. He will be part of our surge over the next few years, so he will learn.

I’ve queried, however, Ollie’s trajectory a bit, and today confirms my worries.

I thought most of our other young players were ok or better. McCartin brilliant, JB fanatical, Gulden had some good moments, JMac good early, even thought McLean worked hard (and rucked better than I’d seen him).

Seeing Buddy kick his 1000 at the SCG is the silver lining. I heard we've got the Hawks in round 1.

To be fair, that 50 was ridiculous. Big mummy was like slapping off a mozzie & milked it to perfection.

For coming from 16th to finals. For travelling all over the country due to COVID. For playing some exhilarating footy. For showing we’re on track for a big five years.

For today : for getting that close without two of our best three centre square players. For things like Rowbottom showing the way in the third quarter. For Tom McCartin showing again he’s a total gun. For Heeney being Heeney. And for never, ever giving up.

                I’m just proud.
Wholeheartedly agree. Has been a hell of a ride this year that none of us foresaw.

I may be wrong but that was just about the GWS best 22? We had two of our three best mids missing and yet we ran them to a point and should have won.

The game is full of little things that cost us victory but every game is like that.

Whilst the disappointment hurts right now, reflect on what lies ahead with this exciting young group. They've done us proud this season!

Todays game should see this subject rightly reset back to reality.....we can only hope.

How good was George? Surely we can't let him go. He will be the perfect foil for Parker as JPK winds down then the old head as Mills, RB and Warner hit their straps.

I have never been a massive fan of George but gee he was good today. Really impressed with him.

I know. All week the media will all talk about Toby for what is a nudge.

Now, if Toby had given him a left hook, that would make this week bearable. Win, win.

Re umpiring, don’t think it was wretched, but that one inside f50 in the third quarter that Rowbottom should have been rewarded with 20m out from goal was a true shocker.

As for Greene, he has to get at least a week for that. As intentional as you could see.

Bells game aside and forgetting all the pre game commentary

What the f8ck did a match committee see that we didnt ?

Even COR in front of Fox, spare me.

I have no issue with those guys on the list, i have huge issue with who they were picked in front of.

Disappointing miss by Buddy as well. He is paid $1.5m a year to kick clutch goals.

Me either. He is done for me. Unforgivable miss for a bloke who did basically nothing else all game either.
