Gambling advertising and the 'match-day experience' are two things that annoy the merde out of me.
As for the footy itself, if they don't give the player going for the ball an opportunity to do something with it, it becomes beneficial for players to be second to the ball and wait for the opportunity to lay a tackle with increasing likelihood of getting a free kick. This is not what anyone wants.
