Great team for tonight despite the outs! Playing a reserves game after the AFL game is definitely better for giving more players a run. A.Gulden went off injured last week with an arm or shoulder injury. With Gulden, O’Riordan and Fox all on the bench during the last quarter against Footscray, that win was even more impressive. Let’s hope we can win again tonight. Looking forward to more from Roberts and Warner and maybe some goals for McDonald. Hoping Taylor’s form continues and that he can get a run in the firsts at some point. Even as sub.

Good work out for Ronke this week.

I've not completely given up hope for Ronke yet. That classy goal he kicked last night was a reminder of what he teased us with all those years ago. Admittedly he didn't do a whole lot other than that goal, but he provides an alternative to Wicks for that small, pressure forward. I hope he can back up well this evening.

Ronke had 23 disposals and 3 goals in the VFL team last week, which I think might be a record for him at that level, and is promising.

Ronke and Wicks had pretty much the same (modest) stats last night calculated on a pro rata basis with reference to TOG.

Ronke's a better kick for goal than Wicks, but doesn't have Wicks' terrier attitude. Ronke *still* follows the ball a bit. If Ronke could lift his pressure acts and tackles, he would challenge genuinely for that spot. Wicks' discipline remains poor.

Ladhams primary ruck so far, with support from Sinclair, and I'm guessing a little from McAndrew when its up forward.

McDonald was good. I like Sheldrick he reads the play well and is a good burst style player.

Of the ruckmen I think Sinclair was best but nothing special.

Roberts is an absolute magnet.
