It was like playing Collingwood at Victoria Park when the Pies were a goal or two down. Not that high scoring a game - 1st and 3rd VERY long.

Hard to understand why they have persisted in bouncing the ball in the centre. Does the clock stop every time they recall the ball? If so, that might be one reason why the quarters have been so long.

Much better effort in that third quarter. I think we were a little lucky to pile on three quick goals towards the end of the quarter. (The 50m penalty leading to the Ladhams goal seemed harsh.)

Sheldrick's burrowing and Clarke's distribution have been the highlights for me. In fact, it's one of the best games I've seen from Clarke for ages in terms of his ball use.

Roberts was very busy in that quarter and probably BOG. Clarke almost as busy. Bell had some really nice involvements in some of our scoring moves. I do like watching McAndrew. He's faster than the opposition give him credit for, and consequently, is able to put on some effective defensive pressure.

I like the look of Lachlan McAndrew given how raw he is I think he has some real potential. It’s been a good opportunity for Logan to get a few goals and pick up some confidence as well. Sheather looks like he will handle senior footy without any issues and Ladhams played week and came back into the game in that quarter.
Quite an enjoyable game to watch.
