I think we can safely put Mills down for another three Brownlow votes. Gulden and Warner cut them up, too. Good all round effort.

Possibly could've won by more but I'll happily take a 58 point win against anyone, anytime. But especially against the Peptides!

        GO BLOODS!!

How dare Essendon come to Sydney and serve up that crap.

          How could they.

A professional team has to be better than that.

I don’t know how to rate the Swans against that meek opposition.

A pretty good all round effort, bar the goal kicking.

A few things to single out: T McCartin was outstanding down back, Mills and Warner beastly in the middle, and great to have Paps back to his best.

A very big five weeks head: Carlton, Tigers, Dees, Port and Saints. If we go three and two or better through that, we’re in terrific shape.

He hasn't had that power running the last 2 weeks. Hasn't been able to chase at any pace. Maybe a groin issue?

Essendon were under pressure all night from us. Sometimes you don't get to play your game because the opposition is fiercer. We got rolled last week by the Suns. They were fiercer at the ball, cleaner and kept the ball in their forward half. We did that tonight and stopped Essendon from playing how they wanted to.

Not sure that Mick Malthouse did much of a list analysis when he said Essendon could win the flag. We actually made them look good in the last quarter.

A little disrespectful. Essendon were 3rd bottom at the start of the game, playing away from home, against a quality outfit when we are on song (which we mostly were tonight). After our last couple of weeks, I think such a comment lacks class and a little unbecoming.

I reckon the Bombers were woeful, but nice to see us get closer to how we want to play footy. Very hard to read a lot into that in terms of how we are travelling, I just think the bombers were so poor. But we had some good performers, and how we tried to play was a vast improvement on the turgid stuff we dished up last week.

Mills was excellent - probably our most consistent player now.

I think Hickey and Ladhams works - if only Ladhams had kicked straight it would be seen as a masterstroke.

                          T.McCartin a bloody great player.

I am sure Tom Hickey aimed at the points late in the game. I reckon he picked out someone he knew in the crowd.

Can someone make up 2 bullseyes and hold them up in the crowd in the middle of the goals when we are having a set shot. One for each end.

Yeah Tom is normally a pretty good shot Nico. The Dual ruckman thing was positive I think

I’m sorry. When the Swans were a bottom 4 team in 2019 and 2020 they fought hard and always made a contest.

Carey and Buckley had given Essendon a clip. Why do you have a problem with me giving Essendon a clip?
