Since we're currently playing a VFL game, I thought I'd just start the thread and not follow it with my usual gibbering. And really, it is a bit of a meh round, football wise. Most of the games look to be either very one-sided or insignificant. About the only one that I might take an interest in, will be whether the good Suns show up against Hawthorn.

Of course we would all love the Suns to thrash Hawthorn, they are nauseatingly pleased with themselves after the last round. I'd also like to see Port extend Essendon's suffering, and the AFLs first nil-all draw between Collingwood and Carlton.
Am I asking for too much? -

Yes.....but I'm with you on all points!Of course we would all love the Suns to thrash Hawthorn, they are nauseatingly pleased with themselves after the last round. I'd also like to see Port extend Essendon's suffering, and the AFLs first nil-all draw between Collingwood and Carlton.

Just love it when we're the first game of the round and we have a win! Can sit back and enjoy all the other games knowing we've already put 4 valuable points in the bag!
Don't really mind who wins most of the rest of the games but would love to see the Poodles, Hawks and Bombers lose! Like bandwagon and stevo, hoping for a nil all draw in the Pies/Blues clash. Then, both clubs and their supporters would be bitterly disappointed!Comment

A lot of empty seats at the MCG. The Melbourne bandwagon "supporters" can't even get through a single game when they aren't winning.
That and the seven o'çlock dinner reservation at that new Yemeni-Chilean fusion restaurant on Little Bourke St.Comment

I promise to keep on taking the piss in the future.
Football wise, the Suns have started really well against the Hawks. Moving the ball sharply in the Darwin heat, with their small forwards, Rankine and Rosas, giving the impression that they'll have big games. Maybe Chol too.Comment
