I can’t be bothered looking up the rules of the game, but surely if a 50 is paid when you don’t give the ball back promptly the intent is because it impedes the ability to either play on or move the ball quickly- both of which are pointless if time has run out.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time -
I suppose that it was fair enough to give BOG to Buddy, but I probably would have given it to Chad.Comment

Definitely missed Nick tonight and reverting to Jake taking the kick ins caused a lot of nervous moments for us.
Maybe COR might stay in based on his effort tonight. Not exactly like for like but maybe Matty Roberts slides back to the VFL so Callum can move back to the mids. Matt wasn’t disgraced but 2 disposals doesn’t help his cause.
Wicks under some pressure as well bring back Benny.Comment

The first half was forgettable. We had more ball, more in our forward half but just bombed away.
The second half was very good, in patches. Again we do not play consistent footy. We are patchy. Not a game style that wins a final. We have the ferocity at man and ball at times. Then we slacken off. We need to be more full on for more game time.
Some problems. We are disorganised in the mids. Our set ups in the mids are astoundingly bad at times. Leaving a free opponent far too often. If you win a ruck to advantage that is fine, you have a free run. But if you do not get ruck to advantage you lose the clearance. This happens even when ball is in dispute if they get it free to the outlier. Too dangerous this tactic.
A very good second half.

Yes she deserves a main commentary spot for sure she seems to understand the game and communicate that understanding through words that are worth listening to.Comment

But we are building the right basis for a challenge for the flag in time. Still a lot of work to do and a lot to develop, but the building bricks are broadly there.

Was definitely a game of 2 halves but I think the gap on the scoreboard flattered the tigers for a while there too.
