    Match Thread Round 12 vs Melbourne Demons @ MCG

    The Dees have made a late change for #AFLDeesSwans with Tom McDonald replaced in the selected side by Mitch Brown.

    Medical substitutes:
    @melbournefc - Toby Bedford
    @sydneyswans - Ben Ronke

    I honestly think we’re a chance to give the premiers another loss. Swans in a thriller by 3 points.

    Well they can play with nothing to lose and that sometimes works out OK

      Biting wind well it seems like it to a Queenslander. The ground looks like it’s in great condition.
      I think more red and white support here at first glance.
      Still think we have a chance

        I’m just watching this with interest to see how we go - no great expectations but would like to see a contest - Logan to kick 4

          Not taking our opportunities again. 4 behinds!

            5 scoring shots each, but we are trailing 20 points already.

            Our team are clearly not in the same class unfortunately.

                We're going alright. Just need to convert our chances in front of the sticks. Let's see if we can change that in the next quarter.

                  Score line is not indicative of general play. Didn’t take our chances. Melbourne are a bloody good team.

                    Yep that was exactly what I was going to say as well. Just have to take our chances. Had more then enough of the play in the first quarter to be only a kick or so behind.

                      I think we matched them in a lot of areas. Gotta nail the tackles and be more efficient in Front of goal. Too many misses already.

                      Can’t see the point of Florent in a defensive role. No idea, it appears.

                          Is it the cold winter's night or do some of the players look a bit disinterested? To me McInerney is just jogging around as if he has somewhere else he rather be.

                            A game of inches and those inches are going the way of Melbourne. Unfortunately it seems they are at this stage a few inches ahead of our players and making space.
                            Not out classed as yet but definitely being outplayed.
                            If we could only be a bit more consistent and stop giving up five goal head starts it would be nice.

                              The difference in skill level. They are having a crack though .
