North Melbourne Roos faced with emotional decision on champion Ben Cunnington's return (afl.com.au)
"It’s probably going to be the VFL, even though we’d love it to be straight back in.
"Deep down I know he’d love to play seniors, particularly being a game in Melbourne this weekend and we travel next weekend.Comment

Ok changes:
OUT: Hickey (rested), Amartey
IN: Ladhams, MacDonald
Btw Finlayson, who beat Ladhams on the day I’m sure he’d rather forget, is the #1 ranked ruckman in the comp. Admittedly not for hit outsComment

2. Most of what we do is speculate, often baselessly (e.g. discussions about Dustin Martin coming to Sydney or even considering 19 teams). What's wrong with that?
3. It seems the objection may have been that in this case TB actually had reliable information, in which case I still don't understand why he shouldn't be able to share it if he's adjudged it appropriate to do so? I myself have shared numerous things I have learned from reliable sources by watching training or talking to club staff and players in this forum. Conversely, there have been times (not many) where I've learned something and decided to hold it back from this forum because it didn't seem appropriate. The reliable information is actually the most valuable bits we find here - I can do without all the baseless speculation myself. If I just wanted that there's plenty in the media but I like getting to learn extra stuff from other posters who have additional insights. All opinions are not equal. You clearly didn't see what was written.
Item 7 on this list over-rides any individual's judgement on information shared or hinted at.

It seems I didn't see what was written - I thought it was TB asserting confidently that Ben Cunnington was going to play reserves and not seniors.
If it was an issue about something potentially defamatory then it might have been useful to say that rather than making reference to "vague, unsubstantiated statements" which turns out to have been a bit of a red herring. All opinions are not equal. Thanks Liz, for all the work that you do for this site. I feel really grateful that we have someone as calm and sensible as you moderating the site. I don't know if people realise the legal risk and responsibility that site moderators take on. And my pet hate is people who don't take on responsibilities criticising people who do.Comment

Amartey was very quiet last week in a very good win. Either McLean or McDonald, although McDonald is not the same type. McLean's form has been better.
If Ladhams is not seem as fit enough to play seniors then Hickey will play. But I would prefer if we had the three ruck talls, hickey, Reid, Amartey/McLean than go for the specialist forward only. If he is deemed ok to play seniors then Ladhams for Amartey.Comment

Ladhams McDonald Roberts and Ronke are the ins
Amartey is the only out so far
I suspect they might try the Hickey-Ladhams comboComment
