James Brayshaw: if I might paraphrase him, he has so little talent (and is as annoying as hell).Ha. At risk of sounding like our long, lost friend Bangalore80, I don't mind BT as a caller.
I know he gets bored and silly during dull games, and the roaming Brian stuff is meh, but when there is a truly big game or big moments to be called, he switches on and actually does it very well. His call of the Fox smother the other night was first class.
James Brayshaw, on the other hand, [insert fork in own eye emoji].

We are not that special KTigers. Its been shown in many studies overseas, in many difference markets, that live FTA TV coverage against the gate has a large impact on crowds.Agree. I don't think there are people in Sydney who normally just watch the Swans live on TV who will suddenly decide to go to the SCG
just because the telecast of the game is going to be delayed on free to air TV. They will just watch the delayed FTA telecast or they'll
sign up for Kayo and watch the game live. I can see how a delayed FTA telecast will push some people towards Kayo, but not to the
SCG.
Just google "live sport on tv against the gate impact" to find a few.Comment

We're not special that's for sure. And there may be studies overseas covering different sports obviously, it just doesn't make
much sense to me that delaying the FTA coverage by an hour or so is going to have people logging onto Ticketek to
get a ticket to the game or rocking up to the ticket booth at the SCG just before the game.Comment

It might help if you frame it the other way around. If you generally attend live matches, you might be less inclined to attend in some circumstances (poor winter weather, etc.) if it is live on TV. The Bulldogs game this year might be a good example. Not having a live broadcast takes away that easy out. We're not special that's for sure.
