Blakey has interesting comment in this article
“As a back six, we’ll defend well and then as the game breaks open a bit, hopefully we’ll start moving the ball and coming into our own.”"Fortunately, this is the internet, so knowing nothing is no obstacle to having an opinion!." Beerman 18-07-2017Comment

I seem to remember our esteemed and popular captain in 2005 was struck down by injuries and unable to make it back for finals, and ultimately having to retire. Bad news for him, his teammates and fans, but it seemed to turn out ok for us that year.....Comment

The dribble continues. McRae is now back to saying they didn't lose to the ground, they lost to the Swans, whilst his players are still saying they played the ground badly.
Lord, this has been the most mind numbing week of footy commentary and journalism I've seen in years. I'll be glad when it's over and hope we smash the living daylights out of them.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

There also seems to be a train of thought in the media, that reckons that since Collingwood outran Fremantle, then they're going to outrun us. Which ignores the fact that in our recent meeting, we outran Collingwood by a long way, and that all over the ground, we have both pace and a selection of tireless gut runners.
It would be hilarious if it ended up being a Swans/Lions GF! They would be lost.....Comment

Yeah, the Melbourne media is full of ****, they are so desperate to ramp up the Pies chances and also pushing the 'fairytale' aspect though the roof.....obviously hoping for a 2016 style umpiring display. It is sickening but I reckon we'll well and truly shut them up. Then what will they rabbit on about in GF week? A Cats 'fairytale'? FFS!

But if Geelong do get through, you watch: it'll be all about Dangerfield finally getting 'his' flag that he 'deserves'. It'll make coverage of the Pies 'fairytale' look bland and unbiased by miles.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

I woke this morn convinced that Amatey is a more difficult match-up for the pies than Mc Donald. So that change tooComment
