Obviously a long way back, but still in with a chance. Starting to move Geelong about with dash through the middle and adventurous handball chains. Evened up the clearances a bit, but the ball still seems to want to bounce towards Geelong.

Fox probably our best. Warner was starting to have an influence. As was Papley. Mills, Parker and Rowbottom are having a go.

If we can just win the next quarter by a couple of goals, it could be enough to launch a last quarter comeback.

Absolutely, and I can’t really think of how to stop it without just having the current guys in there play better. We seem to have already rotated players through for a different look, switched to a slightly more defensive setup at least at centre bounces.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

So comprehensively outplayed in that but only 6 goals down somehow.

Collingwood nearly it to us last week, time to do it properly from here. Will need a miracle, but miracles can happen.

Come on Sydney, show some bloods spirit and give it a red hot go!

They just look so big in there with Blicavs and Dangerfield. Feels like Papley and Rowbottom are midgets in comparison. If Hickey could stick winning some clearances on his own it would help.

Yep has felt like we haven't managed two consecutive clearances all day. Hickey not playing well and the midfield group getting smashed.

Even it up in there and you just never know, but by gee it looks a long way back

I don’t know that we would have picked him, but I do feel Ladhams would have been pretty handy.

Some consecutive goals would be good .

At the very least, I hope we get close enough, to make a valid case for being awarded the premiership, if Geelong are subsequently found to have been flagrantly and massively rorting the salary cap.

I find it hard to blame Hickey. Our mids are playing behind their man. Last week Parker was a demon at the centre bounces, today he is playing from behind and going to ground.

I think we have to play on at all costs this 1/2 . We seem to be taking to long after a mark or free kick .Try to change players at the centre ballup. We are loosing there.

I just think Geelong are older with bigger more mature bodies . We’re young, inexperienced and a bit overwhelmed by the occasion. Last quarter was better - hopefully we can give it a shake

It just seemed to me that they have tagged Errol Gulden and shut him out, but maybe I am wrong. Tom Atkins is playing on him and making it really difficult for Errol to have a run at it.
