When Will Green is ready to play in about 5 years, he will be traded for a 3rd round pick, plus a thank you card from his new club for all the training we put into him.

Hopefully he can be converted to a key defender.

A bit perplexing as to why we didn't trade back a bit if we wanted Green (ranked 25 by Fox Footy). I thought that's what we were planning?

Hopefully he'll be an excellent long term ruckman but surely no one else was looking at him in the top 20? Seems like another KB stretch.

An interesting remark by Twomey ... by bidding on two players, Sydney has lessened the points requirement for Cleary by pushing out the later picks.

The Rookie Me profile of Green. Seems that he can run an impressive time trial for his size and that he only fully focused on Aussie Rules this year, so therefore they think he has scope to continue his rapid improvement.
