Is there more red and white in the crowd? Sure looks like it.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I think there is! BT even commented on how lame the Melb fans are

A better quarter and could do better.
There is great potential there. Whether he can ever fulfil it is another question - but I think he has a higher potential ceiling than Hayden does.

He has improved a lot in the ruck contest too - showing some decent potential in there as a fill in I think.

Amartey is a weapon and causing panic in their backline.

BT observed we have no run and carry, which was spot on.

Very similar to the home and away game last year. We couldn’t kick straight in the first half and were behind at 3/4 time but came home far stronger. We are well in it.

We were better in the second term, but still a bit hesitant to take the game on in that regard. Had very little drive out of the half back flank - McInerney, Campbell, Blakey and co need to get some more of that drive going.

Great test for the boys in the second half to see if we can build on the better second quarter.

He kicked some great set shots last week. I think its more the pressure of the moment he needs to get used to

Kinda upsetting to see how @@@@ the Cats are this year after the GF. It's clear they prepared and threw everything at that game

Amartey has only played about 15 games in AFL so he needs a bit more experience in the big games...But he's looking good. Nice marking, continuously trying and reads the ball well. He is also doing a pretty good fill in job in the ruck...IMHO of course

That seemed like a very soft 50 to me

Very soft indeed. It was late but not by much.

Well that wasn't the start we wanted. 4 goals from frees.

Yes , he’s going enormous, he will improve his set shot kicking . Fabulous pair of hands .
