Melbourne are kicking very straight and we're not. Big difference at the moment

The set goal shots by Logan and Amarty are way off text book .

Logan got that one text book. Well done.

Very handy goal from McDonald. Look forward to a further Errol led recovery in the second half.

Logan more often than not gets it right and has good technique most of the time. Amartey is a bit of a lottery.

Much better quarter, but we wasted some good chances and should be closer. But had most of that quarter on our terms which was pleasing.

I know we didn't kick the goal, but what about that kick to Macca - just sheer brilliance.

Well second quarter looked totally different from the first. In the first, swans looked overawed, panicky. Then they got their act together, calmed down and got back in control.

It helped that the pressure from Melbourne seemed to die off, wonder what happened there.

And the umpires also switched tack, unbelievable. Melbourne crowd won't be happy with that.

Amartey needs to practice harder - he has the potential.
A better quarter and could do better.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

It’s noticeable that we played better in that second quarter the more Errol got into it. Now we need The Chad (he hasn’t been without it, just not breaking the lines) to get right into it.

Ollie, Tom Mc, Amartey, Blakey and Rowie probably our best so far.
