Blakey would have been a better choice for the Goodes-O'Loughlin Medal. The Rating points of Champion Data for Blakey is 23.9 on the top. Warner is 14.7 (8th of all players and 6yh of the Swans) Do we know who are the judges of the Medal this year?

It tells you in this article.

        Warner wins Goodes-O'Loughlin Medal

The Champion Data rankings are a bit of a black box, at least to me. They may claim to somehow be objective but there is a lot of subjectivity in how they weight different aspects of the game.

I thought Warner was terrific. I would have given the nod to Blakey too, but I can't think of four more Swans who had a greater impact on the outcome than Warner. Which isn't to say there weren't some other very good performances, but Warner was highly impactful.

Strange that the guy from the SMH didn't give Blakey a vote??

Nice to have the "old bloods feeling" back again , not completely polished but a HUGH improvement a great team effort big improvements from Heeney,Hayward,Cunningham , Wicks & Mellican who havent played seniors for a long time i thought were both excellent !
We will slowly start to get a couple of more players back after the bye & our next game against Saints at home should be a big chance , nice to see all the happy faces back on team & fans

Blakey did some flashy things, but Warner was everywhere all game.

He said on twitter it was because he did ratings before the 4th quarter as he had to finish his report hahaha.

Can we please keep Heeney in the middle for an extended run?

Also is Francis a bit slow? Doesnt seem to make good decisions

Luke Parker & Adam Cerra both got 1 match suspension.

Cerra's was for the Hickey tackle? The tackle that weirdly appears to not have been penalised on field? I also thought Parker might get off with a fine. Pity....

                          Both pretty minor incidents

Seems some are never quite satisfied with Horse.....even when the players who were brought in and the positional changes made lead directly to a much needed win. Oh well, I'm sure Corey doesn't care too much.....
                            Ridiculous post

I clearly stated it was a minor point but the cult still take it as an attack on their man

Had the blues key forwards kicked straight we actually don’t win that match, even when they were 3 men down in the last quarter

And HTF would you know whether Corey cared or not?

Seriously, it is NOT a ridiculous post. After a match where our coach performed great, all I was pointing out that some like to still find fault, even for something 'minor'.....after a great win, it just seems unnecessary.

In regard to Corey, I meant 'doesn't care as much as you seem to'.

Also, since when is supporting your teams coach, cultish behaviour?

At least it's a positive 'cult'.

Just out of interest how many minutes did everyone think Heeney matched up on Cripps?

I saw Parker, Warner, Heeney continually swapping on their run with on Cripps

But I did think the addition of a Heeney is that rotation was super important
