Skipping away now. Momentum all with the lions sadly.

We may well go on to lose by the 30-40 points I was expecting pregame but the whole shape of the game has changed and it’s impossible to know how the game would have gone with consistent calls in the first half where we dominated.

We also allowed Coleman and O'Connor far too much space. Then at about half way through the quarter we started to get flogged at clearances and stoppages. Now it might not be pertinent but until then Gus and Rowie were playing in the mids. Both spent long periods on the pine.
              Always Horses fault. Sigh.

It's the combination of technical ones paid (mostly against us) and obvious ones not paid (mostly for us) which is so utterly disengaging. If there was consistency I could cop anything. But there is ZERO consistency.

Out of bounds/insufficient intent is a lottery.

                Tackling is a lottery.

                Incorrect disposal is a lottery.

                50m/protected zone is a lottery.

That many lotteries and the whole thing is @@@@@.

Hoping Buller can do a few good things before game ends . Saw him at the opening game of the WAFL this year .West Perth vs Claremont, I am a West Perth supporter. Buller playing for Claremont. It was a replay of the two grand final teams. Buller starred .”Who is the full forward for Claremont ?” “He is a star”. Then the talk of the mid season draft. Cannot believe the Eagles did not pick him up. Good pickup for the Swans but it is only a 6 month gig.
