No way should be get rid of Horse. The players love him. That was a gutsy win. Feel for Melican.

I also enjoyed the commentary pairing of Daisy Pearce and Phil Davis. Their insights were an enjoyable change from most of the Channel 7 boofheads.

Can't wait for the highlights package and the mini-match.....seeing I didn't watch the game. Great to win a close one, especially against those cheating, throwing, staging a-holes. Suck on that F-pups!

                  Well done boys!

Any win is sweet, but beating those cheating fairypuppies is always a bit sweeter. Especially when statistically we should probably have got beaten easily.

Amazing we are still so close to the 8 - we can definitely shape it.

I've liked our last few weeks, even if results haven't quite been there. A bit of tenaciousness coming back into the team - more confidence, more blokes back. Chance to build some serious momentum to leap off for 2024, and hopefully ruin the chances of a few others along the way.

                  - - - Updated - - -

And well done to Horse - he has his critics (as all players and coaches do), but 300 games as coach at a club is a great achievement. And whatever people think about his tactics and coaching, there is no doubt his leadership ability and the enormous respect he has from all the players. Good on ya Horse!

Those scenes with Horse after the match were brilliant. The players have loved him, and my understanding is never more so than after the COVID hubs.

Gulden is just a freak. Tom McCartin wasn’t far behind tonight - so glad he’s back.

The desperation from Buddy late and that tackle from Amartey on Richards summed us up tonight. Heeney did a lot of grunt work tonight - clearing space, taps, etc but that surge run and kick to Paps was brilliant.

Ollie, McInerney, Rowie and Paps so good, and great to see him back in form.

Did you see Blakey’s eyes and voice light up when asked about Gulden? Just raved about him, and why wouldn’t you.

One of the good things about the win is that it should mean that Errol gets the 10 coaches votes. If the Bulldogs won, it probably would have been Bontempelli.

I wouldn't bet on Beveridge being that fair. He's not known for being 'nice'.

Awesome seeing the genuine love and respect the players have for Longmire. At least we should have a week off defending him from the usual posters.
