back in the top 8 is all that matters right now. 18 goals, dropped another ton and a pretty comfortable win in the end ????

Yes I am a youthful 56 wolfetone57 - thanks for the compliment.
"Dropping the ball" was considered Holding the ball then merged into incorrect disposal.
Fighting win in the end - could have been a brilliant game for Warner with a bit more awareness.
Blakey best for me but McLean has improved so much this year - great to see.Comment

Clarke being put through his paces being watched by a few more thousand fans than usualComment

I think playing Clarke as a sub is a waste of time. He either tags someone all game or doesn't play. I know he tries hard but is a bit slow.
I think you need someone with a bit more pace etc if you are going to bring them on deep in the last quarter. Maybe Corey Warner?Comment

We must be really struggling for depth if that's the best we have to use as a sub, a specialist forward tagger...

Well think it through who were the four emergencies today. Two talls, Corey Warner and Clarke. Warner was the other option but he hasn’t impacted games either so it’s ClarkeComment

"Holding man-holding ball rule revised. Free to be paid against player who deliberately dropped ball when tackled.".....which fans may have 'unofficially' just called 'dropping the ball'.Comment

A very good second half and we really tightened up around the contest and clearances.
I thought Paps was probably BOG. He's so influential when he's playing that foward-midfield mix, and he gives us a real point of difference on the ball. Parker and Rowie were very good in tight, and the latter in particular just smashed some tackles and smothers. He's such a hard head. I also thought Chad's game was commendable in that he could have easily got frustrated, but he kept racking it up and got his rewards.
Blakey was excellent, as were Heeney and Hayward, and I thought Logan was very influential at times - plus he just knows how to find the sticks.
And as the self-declared President of the Hayden McLean Fan Club, I love what he did today. He has had some limits as a ruckman and he'll always struggle against the elite ones, but he's improved his work in there substantially and his contested work around the ball is excellent. He has a soft pair of hands in tight, but can then clunk the big marks up forward. That pack mark he took two v one on the goal line was so pure. I hope we re-sign him soon.
P.S: That Bailey Humphrey is going to be one hell of a player for them.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

Yes stevoswan - I sort of knew that but I'm sorry to be so pedantic about it. I apologise to you and wolftone57 and the rest of RAWO members for crapping on so much about it.
