Shame in general that so many throws go unpenalised. Been happening all year in a big way despite the extra ump. What are they there to adjudicate if its not for all the rules? Am sure we’re doing it too, but the number of non penalised throws we can see on the telecast is getting out of control.

The better team won. First to the ball more often, supported each other, played in front.
Swans a bit too hesitant, Gulden fantastic but should not have been nailed HTB (just change direction), goal, not that he’s in any way to blame.
It was a solid effort to get into the right.
Blues not good enough to go much further .Comment

Disappointing to lose when we were all over them, but nevertheless a solid finish to a difficult year. Proud of the never-say-die attitude and mighty games from McLean and McCartin.
A good preseason, on-going improvement in the young guys, some adroit trading; we’re definitely right in there next year.

Great effort. Proud and disappointed for the boys ! Never gave up. But I think a lot of people did really well. Coaches change of tactics, players playing out of their skin, effort after effort.
It tells me that we are super close. Three players short.
If I had to pick on anyone, I will have to pick on Chad and Mcinerney, Chad is good to get possessions but his first attempt is to run into the opposition and fend off and I think he needs to change in mixing it up coz the opposition know.
Mcinerney does many things right but he is not the polished wingman as we would like. I think we still need a good wingman along with the midfielder, KPD and ruckman.Comment

Inaccurate kicking has been a recurring problem all year and has cost us multiple games
You’d like to think that a coach would take remedial action over the course of the season that would improve the conversion rate. This clearly hasn’t happened, and if it has, it has been an epic failComment

Actually, didn’t see the first one. But would have been very interesting if the goal ump called it a goal and they overturned on that footage.Actually, I agree that the first one was definitely touched, the ball deviated....but the second one....no way they could call that touched from the blurry 1960's era vision. Pathetic that they called it touched.....but they had the goal umpires soft call on their side and thought they would have just said 'Umpires call'. Sort of proves their bias.
Not too disappointed, we had a big one go our way vs the Crows. Still think that was karma for the Rat.Comment
