Yeah, that was fantastic. Hanners is forever a Swan at heart.Comment

Through many an argument with old TB back in the day - Rowie will never be a superstar from a style substance, but he has the heart and hard work up there with our biggest hard nuts in the last 30 years. He is so important to our structure and helps will our way out of tough spots in games.
Probably never will regularly hit the 25 'you are a reject if you are below this number' as many as one would hope, but he is a terrific player nonetheless.

And can we please learn that when Fox has a mark or free kick for goal, please lead or get a handball from him. That is one of the very few aspects not a strength. But otherwise, his negating of Lever was immense and his contest work unbelievable. Fox might not play every game from a tactical point of view but he always gives 200%. And great to see Montagna bite his tongue at the end of the game, praising the Swans who he doesn't have in the 8!!! Go SwanniesComment

What a terrific start to the year!
Grundy and Heeney both played super games and Warner was very important at the start of the last.
A lot to like.
And the 150th celebrations is very special.Comment

What a massive game from Heeney tonight. Lets hope this is the year when it truly clicks for him - don't care what the stats say, BOG for mine and by some distance."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

This is bloody sensational! And watching it after a great win like tonight really brings a tear to the eye!
150 years: “Here it is!”
(Didn't realise that Bobby Skilton's granddaughter is this year's Number 1 Ticket Holder. Magnificent!)Comment

Controversial opinion maybe but keep Heeney in the guts. Hayward gets to play his natural game instead of role playing. Heeney can still float forward but he is too good in the middle ( and he’s an AAhalf forward ) but we need him in the engine room. When the other injured players come back play them around it. We need class around the ball and Heeney is all class and all toughness

As IU said earlier, Heeney was so clean and thus found more space than anyone else.Comment

That 150th video is something else - wonderful summary of our club. I just hope the class of 2024 realise the sky is the limit for their potential, and can do our club proud. Certainly started on the right foot tonight - but one win is just that.
Bring on 2024 - something tells me we are in for a very fine one celebration of a big milestone for the club!"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment
