I suppose I want Geelong tonight. I guess because I still get the feeling that Carlton is the preferred fairy tale of the Victorian establishment. After twenty years or so of not really looking like winning a premiership, largely due to being punished for shamelessly rorting the salary cap, they might now be able to win a premiership, with a side that many people has been put together through shamelessly rorting the salary cap. A touching tale.

Such a crappy game from Geelong. No connection, no kicking ability, just relying more on the past glory and a select few. Carlton getting sucked in the contest coz they know that the Geelong midfield is going to cough it up. And Geelong not good enough to spread it to the outside to hurt Carlton. No chance Geelong any threat.Comment

Listening to Triple M walking from the ground last night, they said something like September is better when Carlton and Collingwood are there. Then someone added Essendon. ????
I can't wait until the year when all the interstate teams are in the top 8. The only final at the MCG will be the Grand Final. Last year I was really hoping for a GWS v Brisbane GF. It nearly happened!Comment

Here come Brisbane, giving Port a right royal pantsing.
This has been coming for both sides for a little. Ports real problem is this is the side they’re stuck with for a few years. To get JFH in a couple of years back, then the c grade defenders last year, they took themselves out of the draft and have maybe a second round pick this year. Not a good spot to be with Tassie looming.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

I read a chunk of the most recent Sack Hinkley thread on Bigfooty. There seems to be an awful lot of Port fans who want him gone by the end of the weekend, along with much of their board. It'll be interesting to see if he survives to round 21, when we play them in Adelaide, as I think this Swans team is more than capable, of handing out the sort of thrashing that could finish off an underperforming opposition coach. Here come Brisbane, giving Port a right royal pantsing.
