Hello everyone

My sincerest apologies for the shambles the site has become.

The problem is RWO needs to migrate to a new bulletin platform asap. This is the only way to fix this. We are on VB4, which is no longer supported by the provider. We need to move to VB6 or at least VB5.

The skills set required is outside what I have, so I'm first asking if anyone has experience with linux-based coding and server management. If you do, and are willing to assist with the migration, please let me know.

I'm absolutely happy to fund this, including an hourly rate for the time you invest in the migration.

Once this is done, we'll not only have a new, fresh site (without a radically different change in user interface), it will be faster and error free. No downtime.

Please DM me if you, or you know soneone, who has the skills to do this.

Again, apologies. I've had everything from new babies to new job to a new home all at the same time. It's no excuse, I've really neglected sorting this issue out when it should have been done years ago.

Hi folks, I'm just doing a short plugin update. Will switch the forum off for a few minutes only at 8:45 pm. Things you can do in those few minutes while we're offline:

* eat a banana^ -
* attempt to fold a fitted sheet*
* become dentally self-sufficient through flossing - a full set of 32 teeth has 28 gaps, it takes 6 seconds to floss one gap, which means you can get through a full set of choppers in under three minutes**.



^ it takes on average 3.2 minutes for an average adult to peel and eat one regular size banana
* three minutes is deemed by my mother to be the efficient rate at which to fold one fitted sheet
** assumes you have a full set of choppers

* all non-footy categories have been moved under the one forum "Other stuff not footy"
* the categories 'current affairs', 'entertainment and technology' and 'sport' have been merged into one discussion 'open chat'.

Hi RWOers

I'll need to switch off the forum for about ten minutes at 10:30pm for an update. If you're not in bed then, and are stuffed for what else to do, here's three ideas:

1. Watch this hilarious SNL sketch where three alien abductees are interviewed by the feds: Close Encounter - SNL on Vimeo Kate McKinnon is a riot, Ryan Gosling simply cannot keep it together by the end.
2. Eat five mandarins...they're nearly out of season so what are you waiting for? DO IT.
3. Consolidate your super in ten minutes Seriously, you can. Log into your mygov site, go to services, select ATO and in a few clicks, you can literally merge every super account you have without any paperwork. DO IT.
