    Who will be Buddy's buddy?

Probably C. Bolton. Leo will run circles aroung Roughead as he is kicking goals.

It's not going to be pretty.

    Another loss on the way!
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

      In: Goodes, Grundy.
      Out: Hall, Buchanan.

      My prediction.
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

Question marks remain over the fitness of...Crawford, Sewell and Bateman.
Sewell is a fabulous player and Bateman is handy, and Crawford looked in good form in his first game back last round...Excellent inclusions for the 'poos and wees'.Because if their midfield can get plenty of ball to their forward line, look out. We'll have to play out of our skin to win this one.

It is very unlikely that Crawford will play and Sewell would have to be in some doubt after missing six weeks and then to have his apendicts removed just 9 days ago.

Without Lewis, Crawford and Sewell they look ripe for the picking.

That guarrantees that Roos will play Leo on him.

I watched the show on 9HD and Lance is a lovely young fellow. I won't feel bad now when he kicks 8 goals on Sunday.

He was indeed. Can come to Sydney anytime.

I reckon we should really start with a loose man in defense.
LRT, he can cover the hole between roughhead and Franklin. That will be the best place for him this weekend I reckon.

Bolton to Buddy and Richards to Roughhead. Bevan to take Williams.

LRT to Roughead, Bolton to Franklin, Leo to Williams, Teddy to play loose.

                    In: Goodes, Grundy,
Out: Hall, Buchanan (as much as it pains me)

Schmidt unlucky, but without Hall, we need Grundy to play forward. With two dominant talls in Franklin and Roughead, meaning basically three defenders to cover both of them (either through Teddy double teaming or simply filling up leading space), LRT is needed down back, so can't ruck, which means Everitt can't go, which means Schmidt can't come in.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Even in the canberra comp, Grundy hasn't shown anything special. Spida and Jolly can both spend time forward , as can Richards if needed. Unfortunately Malceski isn't playing with any confidence, and looks like he could do with a spell in the 2's, to recapture some form/ confidence. So I would much prefer to see....In : Goodes, Schmidt ...Out: Hall, Malcescki

Don't know if your a ressies watcher or not, but in my opinion Reg has been playing some excellent footy the past few weeks and deserves another shot at seniors..

maybe we should automatically rotate the best reserves players every week up to the firsts......it may be hard to drop members of a winning squad but no one owns a spot in the team without proving their worth weekly. We are still short of a good fullback (Dunks), a good full forward ( Bazza just doesn't dominate like plugger)and a centre ball magnet like cousins. Spida is not going to be with us for long so who will be our future dominant ruckman....good big men are hard to find and we can't win a flag without one.

I fear that it'll be just Goodes for Hall. Hope I'm wrong though, as I want Schmidt and Grundy to both play.

That's where all of the smart money is. Some of the 'drop LRT, Everitt and Malceski from the final 22!' type of comments... you wonder if they've been following a different team for the last 6 years. Sure, that may be what you want to have happen; but what's likely to happen is a bare minimum of changes.
