launched out of my bean-bag (in prime position) and turned to face all our guests and basically screamed. hugged everyone in the room. typical overreaction really.

got trashed, just woke up with a dehydration migraine.

thank all that is holy for orange juice and the sydney swans.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

As soon as the siren went we were all up jumping and screaming. I didn't know what to do first, so I grabbed my flag and went running outside and ran around the block singing...had a few drivers stop and ask me the score and everything.

        It was just all brilliant.

I was at the G and started crying after the siren. Left from Punt Road Oval early because I was totally spent. And I wasn't even playing!

Out numbered 7 to 1 by Weazles supporters at the Irish club in Subi - It was brilliant. We by far made the most noise during the match and when Barry took the mark we were yelling so hard we didn't realise the game was over until we saw players jumping on top of each other. I just want to thank all those WA supporters who turned up at the Irish club it was easily the best day of my sporting life.

I was at the game! It is by far the most amazing sporting event I have ever been to.

I didn't hear the siren. I saw Leo's mark and the cheers when he marked it, then about two seconds later a much louder cheer. I guessed the siren must have gone when I saw a few Swans players on the ground hugging.

I got very emotional. I shed a few tears. I did my best at singing the theme song, but I'll admit my rendition would have been very, very unsteady with missing words due to the emotion of the moment.

Even now thinking back to that moment makes it necessary for me to reach for the tissue box.

I think I was the first one in our pub to realise the siren had gone. You couldnt hear the TV, so took my cue of a shot of the crowd with a swans supporter punching the air.

The whole place went off. High fives all around.

FWIW, this wasnt an aussie rules pub, just my local a-typical Sydney pub.

I could feel the tears coming on about thirty seconds out from the siren. Then when the game ended I just broke down and cried and started hugging everyone around me!

I didn't move for five minutes..Didn't know the siren went.

Reading this thread has almost brought tears to my eyes..But I'm far too manly for that.

Started jumping up and down, felt faint and dizzy, and then had a whole stack of people I didn't know jump all over me and we all jumped around!!

Myself, my 13 year old little brother and two swans supporters I'd never met before pumped our fists in the air and yelled expletives, then we embraced in a group hug and jumped around in celebration. We then quickly ran down to the fence so we could high five the players as they did the lap(s) of honour.

At the ground. We were all celebrating Leo's mark, and suddenly someone said the siren had sounded, so we continued boing bezerk. After about 5 minutes of high 5s, I suddenly realised I should actually have a look to see what was happening on the ground.

                              Sensational!
