I am still in a state of shock. I was there, I saw it happen, I saw everyone celebrating, I celebrated into the wee small hours, I've read every newspaper, I cried all the way home on the plane, I've watched the replay.....I keep thinking I will wake up tomorrow and it is Saturday morning and time to head to MCG - bit like ground hog day...happily I would repeat it again and again and again!

I also sat behind a swanny supporter in M36 and she did not stop revving us up to get the chants going all game! It was an honour to cheer with you whoever you were.

I disagree. It would've been hard to pick a stand-out performance from the Swans. Goodes was probably the best. But Judd (and some errant Sydney kicking) kept the Eagles in the match when we could've taken it away from them. I thought he played very well and deserved the accolade.

We didnt hear the siren - but then I saw the guys pile on top of Leo - and that was it - there was crying and hugging of the group and total strangers who had become mates during the game - caught up with an old boyfriend after the game (a St Kilda supporter) and he was as thrilled as we were! it was one of the best weekends of my life.

Met up with a number of RWO people in Wagga, Geelong & Melbourne they are all great people - this all made it - even the road trips down and back were fun, tiring, but wouldnt change a thing.

it is fantatstic being a swans supporter - so back to work tomorrow and grinning from ear to ear

I jumped up and out of my seat at the G, gave a huge 2-fisted pump, and let out a howling YESSSS!!

Then I noticed no-one else around me was doing the same thing and realised that I must've imagined the siren.

About a minute later, Leo took THAT mark and seconds later I repeated the act that I now had down pat!

I only got back from Melbourne this morning. At the game, I had a horrible feeling that a Weagles player was going to take the mark in the dying seconds, the rest is a bit of a blur, I was in M32 and knew a Swan had marked it, didn't hear the siren - couldn't believe it was really over! I must have been in shock - I remember singing 'Cheer Cheer' as if we'd won a normal game, and I know I must have had a huge smile on my face as I remember feeling really relieved. But it didn't dawn on me that we'd actually won a premiership until a friend of Mum's called me, said "Congratulations!" as if I'd won the thing myself, at which point I turned to Mum who was sitting next to me, in even greater shock than I was, and gave her a hug.

I remember the presentations more clearly and managed to soak it up a bit more after that, when the players were called up, one by one, to get their medals. I stopped to think about every player who went up there - from B2, who missed out at Brisbane, to Willo, who played for so long without a premiership, and O'Loughlin for getting another chance after '96. As for Roosy and Baz holding up the cup, it was great to finally see that cup with red and white streamers!

The lap of honour was just surreal. I rushed down from Row Y to get as close as I could to the fence, managed to get a couple of pictures, including one of LRT standing triumphantly with premiership medallion in the goalsquare, a sight many on RWO must have thought they'd turn in their graves before seeing!

Leaving M32, I heard someone saying something like 'how could they win the premiership? how could this happen?' nearby, as if it was too good to be true, that it couldn't possibly be right. I wanted to reply, but the words didn't come.

The tears have come a few times in the last 24 hours, mainly caused by watching the replay, but the biggest tear-jerker by far was Roosy's press conference on Fox Footy and the obvious love he has for his players - you could hear it in his voice.

Now? I just feel great pride in this team and what they've achieved (actually, more how they've achieved it) and tremendously happy for them as this success is thoroughly deserved.

well here in bris vegas it was an emotional rollercoaster like the bloody rest of us!

i watched the game at home. there was only two places i could have seen it. the G or home. not safe to let me out into the public.

i had an embargo of wearing red and white as every time i did during the finals, we didnt do well. so i stopped.

at the end of the game when leapin' took "the mark" i screamed. now my housemate who has three slipped discs in his back and is under major medication had taken twice the dosage of his pills and could STILL hear me screaming at the TV.

then when the siren went, my other housemate alerted me to this, and i ran out onto vulture street wearing robbieandos swans jersey as mine is in storage in sydney. drivers honking their horns and the locals were stoked for us.

i ran back inside for the presentations and i basically sobbed for an hour and a half. even reading this thread made me ;lose it a couple of times.

my boyfriend was at his friends house watching the game. i didnt want him to see me being that tragic, but he was the one driving the porcelain bus and not me, so i got major kudos there!!!!!

spent sat nite at sporties in spring hill and dominated the pool table with a trannie from the gold coast. the guys we were playing screamed after losing the 12th game in a row "oh my god we are being beaten by a trannie and a ********en swans fan!!!!!"

dragged my sorry carcass home by about 7am and spent alot of the day chatting to my swans fans and family and friends the whole day just reminiscing.

ill never forget this for the rest of my life. i can die a happy man now.

i never want this feeling to stop!!!!!!

I was sitting in M25, in the AFL members and as soon as the siren went I gave the fist pump "YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!" and then I proceeded to hug another bloods supporter who was sitting opposite me!!! It was the greatest feeling ever...i still don't think it has fully sunk in what has happened. 72 long years guys...was it worth it...? You bet your sweet ass it was worth it! WOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and I forgot to say goodbye to the guy I hugged, so if you are out there mate - you would have been in M26, row L, seat 18 possibly...? Anyways mate, if you are out there, GO BLOODBOYS. I will never forget that moment and the people I shared it with...TRULY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last few minutes down at the excellent Bells Hotel in South Melbourne: loud screaming.

Just after Leo's mark: louder screaming.

Then Tige jumps on Leo and we realise we've won:

Then somehow the screaming got louder still. It reached a kind of fever pitch that lasted a good 5-10 minutes.

It was an unreal time and I'll never, ever forget it. After that things do get a little blurry, but beer, shots and champagne will do that

It was brilliant Rob I'm so glad we caught up with you at the club - I really wished we had got our kids looked after till midnight I really didn't want the day to end.

Bought the DVD today and was amazed at the number of fans trying to buy it and WEG posters at the Herald Sun shop in town.

Even more amazed to see JF still walking around in his Swans gear!
