I think he is a pretty decent player and wouldn't mind him on the squad. I'm not sure if we would just be trading and picking up another Saddo with less experience/more years ahead of him?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

It's just GOT to be a furfy.....even the Essenduds don't think he's good enough to make the regular starting 22, and NO more of their crappy duds, PLEASE....I still haven't fully recovered from a double dose of the Rhino and Bomfords...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

                Doubt it. He quit.

Plus they rated him very highly originally, but then played him less than often enough... even for their own supporters.

At 22, you have to give the kid more time. Its hardly a sin to only play 10 games at that age, and they only got him because of F&S anyway. Imagine if we had lost Ablett last year? Or what about Bucky last year? Both were 22, on the fringe of the team (especially if not for injuries to key players). And suddenly at 23 they begin to blossom.

The kid is 194cm and 96kg, at 22. He has skill and has been in the system now for 5yrs.

Give him 2 years and see what happens. I'm confident he would be able to break into the side, and iits only fair to give him a run if he wants to come up here.

This wont happen.....i just wont let it happen. All we need is a ruckman & that should be it for trade week.

Trade news so far. (Radio News Upate)

A lot of hot air, but no action.

                      Lot of interest in Fevola.

J Hay could be going to the Dockers.

If Sydney are going to chase after Ted Richards, definitely not a 1st Round Pick probably more like a 2nd round pick or straight swap with Powell IMHO

Nothing ever gets done early in the week, it's all speculation and more speculation. Thursday it hots up, Friday it's frenetic.

As a Ruckman is a priority - Was just pondering whether Hale the Ruckman from the Kangaroos is available (the Hawks have queried his availablility) - Could we perhaps offer something for him like first Round pick and Saddington?

If the Dogs are interested in Saddington perhaps we could look at trying to lure Will Minson - I liked what I saw of him this year.

It's possible getting Minson because Luke Darcy will be returning back from injury & can go back as the bulldogs no.1 ruckman & also Peter Street is there to help Darcy out. Saddington/Powell OR Saddington/Pick 19 for Minson sounds preety good to me but its unlikely this will happen but its trade week so ya never know.
