Spida said he wanted to get traded to Sydney.

He is still a contracted player and you'd assume that he is professional enough to contribute to the same degree he has done this year.

If Sydney were offering a three year deal, it is assumed that he will play again in 07 and more than likely walk out then.

They don't gain anything but then don't lose anything either.

One trade possibility mentioned on fox news last night....

Swans have enquired about Jeff White
Didnt mention whether it was pre or post Chambers trade but they did say we drafted him later in the report.

This thread is way too long! Too many things are covered in it. Perhaps there should be a different thread for each player...
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.

It is based on the fact he is yet to sign a new contract, although the club says he is close.

I read today he was offered as part of the Spida trade which is concerning.

Wouldn't out-of-contract Jeff White be a certainty for Sydney? He's had his face done especially for the BotY.

I agree ROK may decide to walk now, although I heard that Melbourne clubs with early picks in the PSD would be willing to trade for him. As for finding another ruckman for the Hawks, why would you bother. Hale might as well play for Sydney as be traded.

Has to be pretty tough on ROK, but would he honestly turn his back and get traded to a dud melbourne club, he works well at sydney cause he gets 3rd and 4th best defenders - imagine him at the hawks, he could well be playing on leo or cbolt, would be tough for him...........but the swans should have stiched him up already and end all this needless speculation.

O'Keefe moving to another club would be another Jade Rawlings.

Spida isn't coming to Sydney He signed up to Hawthorn for another year in May 2005.

                                Source
Everitt did not have a manager when he negotiated his deal in May, having parted company with Craig Kelly's management group, Elite Sports Properties, some time ago.
Compared with what they've been paying Shane Crawford and Nick Holland, the Hawks retained Everitt relatively cheaply.

So Everitt has short-changed himself on two counts. He's on slightly below-award rates and, thanks to that contract, is handcuffed to Alastair Clarkson for at least another year.
